A good night’s rest is priceless, to say the least.

As a working mother, nothing frustrated me more than waking up at 2am to respond to the baby, and then having trouble falling asleep myself, knowing I had to get up at 6am for work.

In 2022, one retrospective study led by an author at Columbia University was finally published that found a positive association between dietary magnesium intake and sleep quality or length (below). Before this, most studies were contradictory, small or did not find a correlation.
